  • Danielle Tanner

    Danielle Tanner is a Relational Body Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, and Academic Writer. She has extensive experience facilitating psychedelic retreats in the Netherlands and working as a Psychedelic Integration Therapist. As Director of Numinous Ways, she leads retreats across Europe and South America.

    Danielle has a special interest in trauma-informed psychotherapy, ecopsychology, and nature-based approaches to healing. She has also worked as a trainer in bodywork, Body Psychotherapy, Buddhist meditation, and Relational Hypnotherapy.

    Alongside her clinical and teaching work, Danielle is a wife and mother, and is passionate about community, dance, psychedelics, and transpersonal inquiry—including its shadow dimensions.

  • Dr Jake Hawthorn

    Jake is an addictions psychiatrist working in a harm reduction team in the NHS. He has long been interested in the therapeutic potential of psychedelics. He completed a Masters in Contemporary Drug and Alcohol Studies in 2023, researching the use of psychedelics by people in addiction recovery.

    Jake has experience of facilitating psychedelic group retreats in the Netherlands with the Psychedelic Health Professionals’ Network. He helped to organise and deliver their in-house facilitator training from 2021-23, before developing this programme into the PsyEdu Professional Certificate.

    Outside of work, Jake enjoys keeping active by running, stretching, and lifting.

  • Dr Duncan Still

    Duncan is an Integrative Doctor, practising as an NHS GP as well as at the National Centre for Integrative Medicine (NCIM) and at Penny Brohn UK. He teaches at Bristol and Sheffield Medical Schools and helps run a Diploma in Integrative Healthcare for NCIM.

    Long interested in the potential for psychedelics as a therapeutic modality, Duncan has a great interest in 'integrative' approaches to health. Before medicine he was a teacher and he also brings several years' experience as a group facilitator as a member of the Psychedelic Health Professionals’ Network, on psychedelic retreats in the Netherlands

    He is a lover of nature and food and tries to bring both together as often as possible through foraging and picnicking.

  • Dr Lauren Macdonald

    Lauren is a Psychedelic Researcher, Doctor and Therapist at the Centre for Psychedelic Research, Imperial College London. She currently works on clinical trials investigating Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa and Fibromyalgia.

    Outside of her clinical work she is a Psychedelic Retreat Facilitator and co-founder at Essence Medicine, a non-profit offering psycho-spiritual care to people facing life threatening illness. She is passionate about holistic modalities that address all aspects of a person – body, mind, and spirit.

    She has trained in Medicine and Psychology, and has undertaken further certificates in Nutrition and Environmental Medicine, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Compassionate Inquiry, Yoga and MDMA-Assisted Therapy.

  • Sam Bloomfield

    Sam is a Creative Arts Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and founding director of Natural Genius, providing Psychotherapists to schools and care homes.

    He is also a holistic body worker, healer, core member of Bristol Contact Improvisation dance collective and author. An experienced teacher and facilitator, qualified in adult education, he promotes mind-body health through relationship, creativity and nature connection.

    Sam loves to explore depth of therapeutic connection, self awareness and creativity with learners and has been doing so for over 30 years. In his spare time he loves being with his five children and wild swimming whatever the weather.

  • Dr Christoph Zwolan

    Christoph is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and Psychedelic Integration Therapist with extensive experience across the NHS, third sector, and private practice.

    As Clinical Director at Numinous Ways, he leads on clinical development, supervises trainees, and facilitates psychedelic retreats across Europe and South America. His integrative approach blends CBT, person-centred therapy, mindfulness, breathwork, and transpersonal psychology, tailored to support individuals navigating altered states of consciousness.

    Christoph is particularly interested in the transpersonal dimensions of psychedelic experiences, recognising their profound therapeutic potential and central role in the effectiveness of Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy.

  • Jen Wood

    Jen Wood is a coach, psychotherapist, supervisor and wellbeing consultant with over 25 years of guiding people home to themselves.

    Before establishing her private practice, Jen Wood Wellbeing, she led services in palliative care, carer support and family support centres, bringing deep compassion and insight to her work.

    Her approach is deeply rooted in Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Compassionate Mind Training, helping individuals cultivate inner warmth, resilience and self-acceptance. Drawing on a wide range of modalities, Jen partners with people on an inner journey of self-discovery and introspection as they reconnect with their true nature.

    With lived experience of a late diagnosis of neurodivergence, she has a special interest in supporting those who think and experience the world differently. Her work is trauma-informed, neuroaffirmative and centred on creating a safe, supportive space for personal growth, transformation and healing. On retreat, she leads breathwork, meditation, generative trance, ceremony and incorporates compassionate inquiry and supportive touch.

    Outside of work, Jen finds joy in walking Scotland’s parks, beaches and hillsides with her Labradors. She also loves to dance and knit socks - though not at the same time.

  • Jessica Sweet

    Jess Sweet is a qualified Neuro-Affirmative Therapist, ADHD/ASC Coach, Integrative Nutrition and Health Coach, and DTM-trained Ecstatic Dance Facilitator.

    She holds an MSc in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh and has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent adults both in her private practice and as an Autism Specialist Mentor at the University of Edinburgh.

    Jess has been a member of the Psychedelic Health Professionals Network (PHP) since 2020 and has facilitated on their legal retreats in the Netherlands since November 2021. With over 20 years of personal psychedelic experience, she is dedicated to crafting transformative spaces that foster self-discovery, connection, and personal growth. On retreats, she also facilitates the daily movement sessions and curates PHP’s ceremonial playlists.

    Before relocating from the US to the UK, Jessica volunteered for MAPS and the Zendo Project at Burning Man and Catharsis on the Mall, co-hosted the HempRadio podcast, and helped manage community education for Harvest Cannabis Dispensaries in San Francisco.

    Jess also holds a Master’s degree in Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and blends her expertise in music, movement, and psychology to support profound mental health and well-being.

  • Roger Duncan

    Roger Duncan, a Systemic Psychotherapist and Systemic Supervisor working in the NHS and

    in private practice. His approach has been shaped by his background in Biology, training, and experience as a Waldorf teacher, and as a Vison Fast guide with The School of Lost

    Borders, in California. His book ‘Nature in Mind, systemic thinking and imagination in ecopsychology and mental health’ was published by Routledge in 2018 and writes and lectures internationally and has been leading nature-based retreats and researching Eco Systemic approaches to nature and mental health for more than 30 years.

    Rogers first experienced psychedelics in 1979 which initiated 40-years of deep exploration into the healing power of nature connection at the root of ecopsychotherapy. He revisited work with Psychedelics in ceremony, in 2019 which led into a deeper systems approach to healing where the experience can offer a rite of passage into encounters with the spiritual in both Nature and the Human Soul. Roger has trained with and is a member of the Psychedelic Health Professionals (PHP)

  • Amanda Guzinska - Director of PsyCare UK

    Amanda Guzinska's early adult years were shaped by a deep curiosity about human behavior and a drive for meaningful exploration. This search for understanding led her to PsyCare UK in 2011, where she found a sense of purpose in supporting others through crisis intervention. Beginning as a volunteer, Amanda quickly demonstrated her commitment, rising to roles as administrator and trustee. In 2024, she was appointed manager of the organisation and more recently, Director.

    PsyCare UK, founded in 2008, has grown from a small grassroots initiative into a thriving therapeutic community that now supports hundreds of individuals each year. Amanda has played a key role in this transformation, helping expand PsyCare’s reach and impact. Her leadership is grounded in empathy, community-building, and a clear vision for accessible mental health care.

    She envisions PsyCare hubs in local communities across the UK, extending crisis support beyond festivals and into everyday life. Amanda's work reflects both compassion and innovation, as she continues to shape the organisation’s future. Her dedication ensures PsyCare UK remains a vital source of care and hope for those in need.

  • Dr David Luke

    Dr David Luke is Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Greenwich. His research focuses on transpersonal experiences, anomalous phenomena and altered states of consciousness, especially via psychedelics, having published more than 100 academic papers in this area, including thirteen books, such as Otherworlds: Psychedelics and Exceptional Human Experience. When he is not running clinical drug trials with LSD, conducting DMT field experiments or observing apparent weather control with Mexican shamans he directs the Ecology, Cosmos and Consciousness salon and is a cofounder and trustee of Breaking Convention: International Conference on Psychedelic Consciousness.

  • Professor David Nutt

    David Nutt is a psychiatrist and the Edmond J. Safra Professor of Neuropsychopharmacology in Imperial College London. He has been president of the European Brain Council, the BAP, BNA, and ECNP. He is currently Founding Chair of the charity DrugScience.org.uk. David has published over 35 books and over 1000 papers, including in Nature, Cell Lancet and New England Journal of Medicine. These define his many landmark contributions to psychopharmacology including GABA and noradrenaline receptor function in anxiety disorders, serotonin function in depression, endorphin and dopamine function in addiction and the neuroscience and clinical utility of psychedelics.

  • Rosanna Ellis

    Rosanna Ellis is a Hospice Nurse and Yoga Nidra teacher. She has an MSc in Palliative Care and has undertaken practitioner training in Systemic Family Constellations. She is the co-founder of Essence Medicine, a non-profit providing psycho-spiritual care to people experiencing life-threatening illness. Rosanna is passionate about the power of conscious rest and the potential of the systemic constellation approach for personal and collective evolution.

  • Daan Keiman

    Daan Keiman holds a master’s degree in Spiritual Care from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and serves as a Buddhist and psychedelic chaplain. With over 15 years of experience, they have supported individuals in preparing for, navigating, and integrating psychedelic experiences across various settings, including festival harm reduction services and group ceremonies at the Synthesis Institute. As Education Lead for the OPEN Foundation's ADEPT Programme, they are leading the way at the cutting edge of Psychedelic Education in Europe. They also teach in international psychedelic practitioner training programmes and have shared their work at prominent platforms such as Psychedelic Science '23, ICPR, Breaking Convention, and Harvard Divinity School. As a co-founder of the Communitas Collective Foundation, Daan is dedicated to developing and disseminating ethical approaches and community-based models for psychedelic care. Daan maintains a private practice as a Buddhist and psychedelic chaplain, emphasizing the importance of integrating spiritual care into psychedelic practices.


  • Dr James Hawkins

    James read philosophy at Cambridge before changing to medicine and qualifying as a doctor in 1975. In the 80's he studied acupuncture in China, helped start the British Holistic Medical Association and founded a small Edinburgh-based charity – Good Medicine – which he worked through for many years. After initially specialising in both pain problems and psychological difficulties, more recently James works as an independent integrative psychotherapist with an interest in both helping to decrease distress and also increase wellbeing. He is intrigued & hopeful about the increasing evidence that psychedelics can be helpful in a range of difficult-to-treat problems including trauma & addictions. He is very up to date with emerging research, has considerable practical experience and founded the Psychedelic Health Professionals Network to support other health workers who are interested in this field.

  • Sara Reed

    Sara Reed is the lead Psychedelic Research Therapist at Imperial College London. She has spent her early career reimagining effective mental health care in the medical system. Sara's clinical interests focus on ethical care in psychedelic sessions, examining the ways culture informs how we diagnose and treat mental illnesses. Before joining the Centre for Psychedelic Research, Sara participated as a study therapist with the MDMA therapy for PTSD clinical trials sponsored by the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). While working with MAPS, she advocated for health equity in psychedelic therapy and co-led the first ever MAPS MDMA-assisted psychotherapy training for clinicians of color. After this study ended, she received training in psilocybin therapy at Yale University for the "Psilocybin-Induced Neuroplasticity in the Treatment of Major Depressive Disorder" trial and co-wrote a paper using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as a therapeutic modality in this treatment. As a mental health futurist, Sara is keen on finding creative ways to support folks in receiving accessible and effective mental health care.
